The right candidate will be a dynamic and accomplished sales leader who drives data and metric based decisions while pushing both speed and volume.  This person will provide senior leadership and guidance to our entire sales team in LATAM, working closely with sales directors, managers, and professionals all over the Americas to ensure that we have a world-class culture and an environment of professional development and inclusion. He/she will be a recruiting evangelist, putting evolution and improvement of the team at the forefront.  This person will also work in direct partnership with our Sales Enablement and Marketing teams to embed best practices into our sales structure and to streamline our processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead LATAM sales team and drive increasing quarter over quarter bookings.
  • Partner closely with the SVP of Global Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to create and execute the LATAM go-to-market strategy.
  • Direct responsibility for leading new business acquisition team across all products.
  • Lead varying teams of product sales specialists to drive LogMeIn penetration into global account base.
  • Be responsible for monthly and quarterly sales forecasting, reporting rollup, etc.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, development and mentorship for the LATAM sales managers and directors, assist managers with sales rep development, hiring, success and performance plans.
  • Ensure managers follow and are held accountable to their “Day in the Life” responsibilities.
  • Hire and train new managers, promote managers from within based on sales team projected growth.
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement to define sales execution and productivity gaps.
  • Actively monitor and manage key performance metrics that govern team by team performance.
  • Work closely with managers to define and lead innovative and creative ways to improve and increase sales rep performance.
  • Implement sales best practices to support consistent, formulaic sales process.
  • Develop and lead sales strategies to further penetrate and grow existing customer base.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management, Operations, Business, or similar; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing SaaS based teams in the SMB/Enterprise high technology segment – preferably IT focused in the LATAM market.
  • 10+ years’ managing a team of sales professionals including 5+ years Managing Manager and/or Director level staff.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of front line sales managers and directors.
  • History of over quota performance against assigned company goals.
  • Experience managing new business, add-on and renewal sales channels. 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-transaction type sales environment.
  • Must have an affinity for technology sales – being able to convey business value from technical solutions.
  • Ability to work as key member of sales management team and leadership teams.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker, hard worker, thought leader, high integrity.
