Overview

The Realtime Collaboration and Communication Platform team in Dresden, Germany, is looking for a highly motivated, experienced and passionate network protocol expert to research and develop cutting-edge transport protocol stacks for real-time media transmission for a fast-growing communication and collaboration company.

 

As a seasoned transport and internet protocols expert you and your team will be responsible for developing first class connectivity to enable superior real-time media experience for our communication and collaboration products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop superior and cutting-edge connectivity algorithms and concepts
  • Take part in all phases of feature development: from architecture and design to development and testing
  • Develop robust, efficient, scalable and reliable network stacks
  • Contribute to the LogMeIn IP portfolio
  • Actively follow the community, the industry and standardization efforts
  • Influence and contribute to the overall connectivity strategy and roadmap across the Goto suite

 

Qualifications:

  • Expert in transport and internet protocols and concepts
  • Hands-on experience in common stacks
  • Profound knowledge of the C++ language in its modern forms
  • Experience in real-time media transmission and streaming of live media
  • Experience in parallel programming (multithreading, asynchronous programming) and socket programming
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, QUIC, WebSocket, TLS/SSL, NAT etc.
  • C++, TypeScript
  • Git
  • AWS, Docker
