    What product you will be working on 

    LogMeIn’s Identity & Access Management (IAM) business unit is focusing on the next evolutionary step of LastPass, extending its role way beyond a "simple" password manager. We're introducing new capabilities to our award-winning product that helps millions around the world by creating and integrating new services in an agile development process.

    The role shares responsibility for planning and implementation with team members and assumes increasing responsibility as a solid technical contributor in a group; applies to understand of how test development projects, utilized, and maintained, how projects are planned and executed, and how systems engineering is done. The role may work on technical solutions in an area of specialty. The incumbent's output will be peer-reviewed, and the engineer will be a capable peer reviewer of other team member’s work. 

    Test planning, documentation, and manual testing activities are also required in case of need. 

     

    Responsibilities 

    • Establishes and maintains thorough and accurate documentation of all work; may assist with technical specification documentation and review 
    • Analyzes testing results; identifies, isolates, interprets, and reports defects 
    • Conducts smaller development projects independently; performs specific portions of broader projects managed by the supervisor  
    • Within the scope of assignments, installs, configures and maintains the hardware and software test environment 
    • Participates in feature planning and represents quality aspect with a strong quality mindset 
    • Creates test case documentation for the ongoing projects 
    • Manually executes test runs in case of need 
    • Makes recommendations for improvement of applications 
    • Collaborating with other teams. 

     

    Requirements 

    • Ability to reason about product quality while producing software requirements for features, requirements for system qualities (including performance and security), product design, software design, estimates, algorithms, source code, test plans, unit test harnesses, software and system performance data, software product information and bug fixes 
    • Ability to contribute constructively to the review of recent project activity and working practices 
    • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Hungarian 
    • Experience with Git or other distributed version control system 

     

    Bonus Points 

    • Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA 
    • Experience with test management systems such as Test Rail. 
    • Experience working in an agile environment 
    • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Unix shell, Java script, Python, Ruby)
