    The Manager, Marketing Budget is part of an important team responsible for bringing the Global Marketing budget in on target. This critical team member partners with assigned functional and cross functional global Marketing, Accounts Payable, Finance, Procurement and Accounting teams to ensure all funds are fully utilized within quarter. Role sits within the Global Marketing Operations Team and reports into the VP, Global Marketing Operations. If you have a glass is half full, get-it-done personality, we’d love to hear from you. 

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the Marketing Budget team to ensure best in class service is provided to business partners, budget targets are achieved, and operational processes support efficiency
    • Partner with Marketing budget owners to ensure total budget allocations match quarterly budget targets
    • Identify any risk/opportunities within budget and resolve budget allocation issues quickly and efficiently
    • Lead the month end close process with Finance & Accounting for monthly accrual submission
    • Support the SVP of Marketing with weekly and monthly reporting packages highlighting program spend in preparation for executive leadership meetings
    • Communicate clearly, frequently, and keep cross-functional teams aligned on items as they relate to budget management
    • Reconcile monthly P&L activity against forecast detail in the budget management tracking system
    • Actively work with the global cross-functional teams to increase transparency on the overall budget process and source feedback to enhance current workflows
    • Train new Marketers on processes and procedures as it relates to budget management
    • Be a team player and pitch-in elsewhere as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Prior budget management experience a must
    • Prior experience working with spreadsheets and creating detailed reports (i.e. pivot tables, charts)
    • 7+ years related experience
    • Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills  
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable working with all levels of the leadership team
    • Highly professional demeanor
    • Demonstrated capacity and strong willingness to learn and develop
    • Must welcome challenge and have a problem solver mentality
    • Smart, energetic, enthusiastic, fearless, highly motivated & enjoys collaborating
