  • Overview

    The Senior IT Cloud Engineer will be a member of global IT cloud operations team responsible for designing, implementing, and operating cloud solutions according to Microsoft and industry standard best practices. Employee must be able to work independently, but also collaborate effectively as a member of a high performing global team.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, build, operate, and maintain global cloud infrastructure used by all employees.
    • Assist with M&A responsibilities as needed.
    • Analyze and understand project requirements. Estimate resources and build budgets based on requirements.
    • Understand risks associated with delivering or migrating to new technologies.
    • 3rd level escalation point for IT services and IT operations team members.
    • Be able to create diagrams and other pre and post-deployment documentation.
    • Work within a multi-site, global IT department located in multiple countries/continents
    • Documents, maintains, and monitors compliance to internal SOX security policies and compliance as needed.
    • Work with users and departments outside of IT to develop solutions and integrate applications with our environments.
    • Participate in a global on-call rotation for critical services
    • International travel may be required

    Qualifications

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS. Microsoft Intune, Windows AutoPilot, Windows Update for Business, Azure Active Directory experience a plus.
    • 7+ years Active Directory and Exchange design, implementation, and administration, according to industry best practices. Working knowledge of Windows DNS, DHCP, GPO, and automation.
    • Knowledge of networking protocols and services including DNS, DHCP, load balancing.
    • Advanced operational knowledge of Google gSuite and Microsoft Office 365 solutions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of SSO integrations, including SAML and other authentication protocols. Azure Active Directory integrations a plus.
    • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize projects independently.
    • Ability to work independently, reporting to a remote manager.
