• Event Content Producer

  • Overview

    This role will have ownership over all aspects of content creation associated with large scale global Sales events.  This role, reporting to the VP, Training & Development, will partner actively with LMI Executives, as well as external industry experts, to plan and execute content that will educate, motivate and inspire our Sales organization.  In addition to large scale events, this role will also help plan other sales events and presentations for Sales Leadership.


    • Program manage all content details for LMI’s annual Sales Kickoff and Leadership Summit
    • Work closely with the Events Team on venue selection and to ensure operational requirements of the events are met onsite
    • Lead planning meetings to communicate progress, needs, and challenges effectively to key stakeholders
    • Pitch ideas and brainstorm with internal subject matter experts to identify compelling content opportunities, creative content ideas, and key educational topics
    • Source, test, recruit and brief high-caliber internal speakers to motivate, educate and inspire our Sales organization
    • Source external speakers that match to LMI values and the needs of our audience
    • Partner with peers on the Training and Development team as well as internal speakers to develop presentation
    • Develop leading-edge agendas that respond to the needs of our audience
    • Manage external vendors; ranging from external presentation coaches, multi-media agency and graphics design support
    • Plan to produce event award ceremonies
    • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve common event goals
    • Manage speaker communications, obtain required materials, and drive internal communications
    • Utilize data from previous events to increase attendee engagement and value
    • Develop informal networks to identify future speakers and topics
    • Select and manage Event App to be used by attendees onsite
    • Manage and adhere to assigned budget
    • Drive and adhere to deadlines
    • Manage Training and Development Team staffing for each event to include pre-event briefing and onsite execution
    • Provide speaker support and address issues that arise during the event. Manage onsite speaker logistics such as dry runs, scheduling, show flows, etc.
    • Test and validate the possibility of offering sponsorship opportunities at internal sales events
    • Manage process for collecting attendee feedback and provide post-show analysis to inform future planningEnsure a positive and motivating learning experience for attendees and speakers alike
    • Attend industry events to inspire innovative ideas, new technology and process enhancements
    • Work with sales operations and sales leadership to prepare content and presentations for monthly and quarterly business reviews, sales all-hands and town hall events
    • Assist sales operations and sales leadership preparing content and presentations for executive staff and board updates
    • Approximately 30% travel


    • 5 – 7 years of professional experience conference production, events or training
    • Minimum of 2 - 3years of Sales experience preferably in SaaS / IT environment
    • Experience as a professional Conference Producer is essential
    • Proven record of exceptional program management.  Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
    • Highly-developed communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and informal networks
    • Highly-developed writing, editing and proofreading skills
    • Strong presentation and coaching skills
    • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work across teams to ensure the success of the event
    • The ability to prioritize, work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
    • A polished communicator with significant exposure influencing senior leadership as key stakeholders and constituents
    • Ability to work from a strategic perspective, developing creative, innovative and visionary approaches
    • Experience transforming raw data into polished insights and business intelligence
    • Familiar with adult learning and coaching concepts
    • Understanding of Learning Management Systems and other Sales enablement tools
    • Understanding of tools (SFDC, Callidus, Data.com, Insidesales.com, SharePointAllego etc.), and sales processes/terminology a plus
    • Strong leadership, creativity and analytical skills
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, act with a sense of urgency, and interface with all levels of the organizatio
    • Self-motivated and organized with a strong desire to succeed and grow as we grow.
    • Strong Excel, Word, and Power Point skills
    • Proactive and enthusiastic, with a professional and can-do attitude
