• Inside Sales Manager, LastPass

  • Overview

    We're looking for a proven leader who knows how to build and motivate inside sales professionals with diverse backgrounds and different levels of experience. The focus will be selling net new business to SMB companies that have up to 3000 employees and would benefit from our Identity and Access Management solutions - notably LastPass.  Core customer industries include technology, financial services, consulting, healthcare, and higher education.  The ideal candidate should consistently demonstrate the following characteristics:

    • Metrics-driven: Measure and analyze key performance indicators to drive improved performance and accountability. Must display command over prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, deal negotiation, and closing


    • Lead a team of 8 inside sales specialists: hiring, training, & driving optimum sales performance.  Includes account executives and supporting business development reps
    • Team with Sales Leaders in developing and implementing sales strategy for the channel. Key initiatives in 2019 include partnering with our machine learning team to accelerate prospecting efforts and developing an inbound sales team, among others
    • Work cross functionally with marketing, machine learning, engineering, customer care, sales operations, finance, legal and other departments to innovate upon our processes and overcome roadblocks
    • Motivate, communicate and engage with employees to create a great place to work. Help the team learn, grow and deliver to their peak capacity
    • Sets performance expectations and coaches team members on how to achieve performance goals
    • Monitor and continuously improve metrics for sales attainment, closing ratios, lead conversion rates, average deal sizes, appointment setting and sales cycle optimization
    • Prepare weekly / monthly / quarterly forecasting and KPI reporting.  Precision is paramount
    • Expert in prospecting strategies, sales process, coaching techniques and conducting sales methodology reinforcement
    • Demonstrates sound judgment in analyzing information to make both routine and strategic decisions


    • BA/BS degree or higher. Related sales and management experience may be substituted
    • Minimum 5 years sales experience in B2B, high tech sales OR minimum of 2 years sales management experience
    • Knowledge of Salesforce.com. Data.com, LinkedIn.com, and Marketo Sales Insights preferred
    • Already using LastPass (or a similar password manager), even better!
