• Senior Director - Unified Communications and Collaboration

  • Overview

    LogMeIn is looking for an experienced presales Director for our Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) business unit to manage and optimize our highly performing Solutions Consulting teams in North America. Working with our UCC offerings which include industry leading solutions such as GoToMeeting and Jive, our hosted VOIP phone system, you will be responsible for the team’s strategic direction, development, operational execution, and delivery against performance metrics and sales goals. You will use your insight and expertise to define strategic plans, optimize the workflow, help our teams differentiate our offerings from the competition and assist in closing business. You'll partner closely with your counterpart in sales leadership to ensure goal attainment. You’ll oversee the distribution of resources to manage the technical sales cycle to ensure new and add-on business opportunities are executed as optimally as possible resulting in closed business. You will ensure the technical competency and effectiveness of your team via continuing enablement.


    •  Lead a team of 4-5 geographically dispersed managers in North America
    • Manage, mentor and train direct reports and associated teams in various North American offices
    • Hire, scale and manage performance to drive employee development and maximize team retention
    • Effectively manage internal and external stakeholder expectations and resolve escalations to ensure satisfaction
    • Collaborate effectively with Sales leaders to expand the sales pipeline and convert prospects to bookings
    • Oversee pre-sales preparation and execution during sales cycles including demonstrations, trials, and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
    • Work with sales, product, success, and care teams to ensure strong handoffs and cross-functional experiences
    • Collaborate with global counterparts to share and optimize best practices.
    • Demonstrate clear understanding of LogMeIn UCC solutions, our ecosystem and how they apply to specific client situations


    • Business and technology professional with 10+ years of presales and management experience
    • BS Degree or equivalent experience in technology space – focus on Unified Communications/Networking
    • Knowledge of relevant solution sets, performance criteria, and ecosystem
    • Consistent track record of building and managing great teams
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to manage resources across multiple office locations
    • Experience measuring progress against goals for time-to-value, resource utilization
    • Skillful collaboration and diplomacy to ensure smooth working relationship across teams
