  • Overview

    As a key member of the Brand and Creative management team, the Creative Project Manager is expected to work collaboratively with the Operations Director and Creative Director as well as other marketing leaders to drive and continuously improve the creative operational function, performance and alignment of the team.

     

    The creative operations function includes but is not limited to:  creative project management and delivery as well as workflow management, annual and quarterly budgeting; workforce management and planning; systems/processes development, maintenance and improvement, business partner relationship management and agency/vendor/temp management. 

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and deliver against campaign level Marketing initiatives with multiple phases, deliverables, dependencies and a variety of stakeholders across a complex matrix organization
    • Gather requirements to develop detailed project plans and estimates
    • Work with Operations Director and Creative Director to staff projects appropriately
    • Coordinate project deliverables
    • Source and manage vendors and manage all out of pocket costs
    • Responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining project scope, progress and budget
    • Assess and communicate impact of changing variables throughout the life of the project
    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risk/impact and escalate/communicate appropriately
    • Work with Director and other team members to find operational efficiencies and improve process
    • Manage all project communication and documentation
    • Review all project deliverables for accuracy and quality

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of relevant project management experience in large scale campaign projects from concept to delivery
    • Creative agency experience desired
    • Proficiency with workflow tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Basecamp)
    • Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
    • Strong presentation, vendor management and client management skills
    • Self-motivated, assertive, proactive and entrepreneurial
    • Ability to multitask and delegate appropriately
    • Ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Strong problem solving skills
