    We’re looking for a talented full-stack Senior Software Engineer to help create and build the newest features of LastPass, LogMeIn’s award-winning password manager with over 13 million trusting users. Our ideal candidate loves tackling hard problems creatively with a focus on security and scale and has proven web-application building experience. The skill set of the successful candidate should be always growing as the web evolves - following new tools, techniques, and technology trends to actively influence LogMeIn’s capabilities. This person has worked in a similar capacity, has excellent communication skills, a keen eye on the trends, and expert-level knowledge of the various technologies needed to achieve group goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, build and maintain various elements of the LastPass experience.
    • Drive projects to completion through the proposal, design, implementation, and release phases
    • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to your immediate team members
    • Work closely with other team members, including participating in code reviews, research and knowledge-sharing, group or mob programming, etc.
    • Work and communicate effectively with teams in multiple time zones
    • Keep eye on emerging technologies and how they may affect LogMeIn.
    • Participate in brainstorming and feedback sessions to gather and receive input to apply rapid iteration.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5+ years of experience developing and shipping quality code.
    • Broad full-stack knowledge
      • An understanding of modern JavaScript and experience with at least one common JS framework such as Angular or React.
      • An understanding of backend web development with experience in security and scale, preferred in Hack/PHP.
    • Solid understandings of web application architecture and design patterns.
    • A focus on developing with an emphasis on security.
    • Experience working in an Agile environment.
    • High attention to detail, excellent organization skills and efficient problem solver.
    • Highly self-motivated and able to thrive in a multi-task environment.
    • Infectious energy for building best in class, customer-centric experiences.
