• Senior Agile Coach / Scrum Master

  • Overview


    • Assist the organization in driving and mastering agile within their corporate software environment
    • Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing. Help maintain a model that allows for discussion on how to improve or celebrate successes based on those metrics.
    • Provide instruction and training to software development teams in agile software principles
    • Facilitate sprint planning and retrospective, together with other agile meetings
    • Coach Product Managers and helping them understand their impact to teams.
    • Ensure cross-team coordination
    • Working with multiple teams in parallel
    • Be assertive around adhering to the Agile mindset and not necessarily pushing frameworks, tools, etc.
    • Drive the strategy for the overall organizational adoption of Agile, as well as continually offering or recommending strategies for improvement
    • Coach or Mentor ScrumMasters or team members who are playing the role of ScrumMaster.
    • Look to implement Agile process, principles, and potentially practices across all levels of the organization that may or may not directly make an impact to customers
    • Focus on career development that follows the Agile Coaching Institutes framework to improve all facets of coaching in an Agile environment.



    • Expert knowledge of the practices, concepts and procedures related to coaching and facilitating development teams practicing of agile principles
    • Hands-on experience as an Agile Lead or Agile Coach, preferably with large organizations
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Hungarian and in English
    • Experience in teaching and/or mentoring multiple teams
    • Experience communicating and removing impediments across an organization
    • Proven leadership skills, specifically leading by example (servant leader)
    • Deep understanding of all software lifecycle development disciplines - Project Management, Requirements Management, Analysis & Design, Quality Assurance (Testing), Implementation, Deployment, Configuration & Change Management
    • Talented team player and sharing of best practice
    • Have general knowledge of Internet Technologies including web services, web applications and networks
    • Have experience in software engineering processes and methodologies
    • Scrum Certification is a plus
    • Experience with JIRA or other Agile Lifecycle Management Tools is a plus
