    Jive Communications, now part of the LogMeIn family, is looking for an awesome Software Developer who looks forward to building, troubleshooting, and operating complex distributed systems. You will join the team responsible for the call control services of our VoIP platform. Your main focus will be evolving our call control services for better failover and scalability, and help develop a next generation media storage solution to meet our growing business and operational needs.

    • Produce maintainable code (mostly Java and C, with python and Go)
    • Review Pull Requests and have yours reviewed to improve quality and share knowledge
    • Deploy often. We value small and frequent changes
    • Configure Asterisk and dive in its code
    • Monitor production systems (dashboards and metric based notifications)
    • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade our production services while maintaining service
    • Automate everything, from builds to recovery procedures
    • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting


    • 5+ years of engineering experience in the software industry
    • Passion for well-crafted software
    • Extensive experience in at least C or Java
    • Good communication skills
    • Knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) is a big plus
    • Working experience with Asterisk is a plus
    • Development experience with Asterisk is a big plus
    • Good knowledge of network programming
    • Good knowledge of Python and/or Go is a plus
    • Experience with Docker
    • Experience with software development on Linux
    • Experience designing, implementing, deploying, and operating software in a production environment
