  • Overview

    LogMeIn is looking for an awesome software engineer with a knack for designing, building, and operating a complex development platform and automation infrastructure covering multiple technologies and programming languages, to support DevOps teams.


    As a member of the development team that owns the Java platform, the software development tools and the build and release environment, your responsibilities will include architecture, design, development, deployment, and operation of all of its pieces. Both open-source and built-from-scratch elements are used, in a variety of programming languages (mostly Go, Java, and C, with some Python sprinkled on top). Focus is on automation, reliability and scalability. The team’s direct customers are other development teams who build real-time communications applications on top of the shared infrastructure.

    • 5+ years of engineering experience in the software industry;
    • Good knowledge of backend software development, shared components, system-to-system integration;
    • Good knowledge of build and release environments and workflows;
    • Experience with software development on Linux/Unix;
    • Knowledge of containers development and orchestration is a plus;
    • Able to participate on on-call support rotation;
    • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance as part of a truly global team;
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, OR equivalent professional experience.
