    LogMeIn is looking for an energetic, self-starting, security engagement specialist to join our Security Team.  Reporting to the Director, GRC, you will play an instrumental role in responding to customer security queries and performing vendor security risk assurance reviews. The Security Engagement Specialist will help respond to RFIs/RFPs, customer questionnaires and on-site audits, and review the security posture of new and existing vendors.  You will liaise with our Sales, Customer Care, Procurement, and Technology organizations to ensure LogMeIn’s responses to customers are accurate and timely, and our due diligence of vendors meets regulatory and industry best practice expectations.


    • Collaborate with Sales for timely and accurate responses to security- and privacy-related questions in Requests for Information/Request for Proposals (RFI/RFP) from prospective and current customers;
    • Support the Procurement function and other business areas, as needed, with vendor security risk due diligence. This will include reviewing security related documentation provided by the vendor (SOC2 Type II report, SIG Lite, etc.), identifying gaps, and reporting on security risks identified to vendors and internal stakeholders;
    • Monitor Security Awareness mailbox and manage dissemination and resolution of incoming requests;
    • Assist with review and revision of customer-facing security- and privacy-related documentation as needed.


    • A Bachelor's degree in a technical/security field or a non-technical degree and/or combination of directly related work experience commensurate to 3-4 years’ experience;
    • Technical and business writing skills;
    • 2 years of experience in an Information Security environment;
    • Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork and project management skills;
    • Strong sense of accountability with the ability to work independently with minimal direction and follow-up;
    • Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills;
    • CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) or similar certification desirable
