Jive is looking to hire an Inside Sales Manager; in this role, you will work closely with our VP of Sales to lead our Inside Sales team. You will be responsible for managing and motivating Jive’s Inside Sales representatives to achieve individual sales goals. The Inside Sales Manager will mentor each individual while also building a strong, cohesive, and collaborative team. The Manager will also be responsible for monitoring pipelines, conversion rates, and delivering on quota and forecast.
Manage and lead the Sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
Conduct regular weekly meetings to ensure execution of sales responsibilities.
Monitor Salesforce.com metrics and activity.
Conduct pipeline meetings with sales reps.
Inspire team performance.
Work with large accounts (over 50 seats).
Monitor quota tracking for all SMBs. Meet and agree to action plan with reps who are tracking below 80% of quota.
Mentor and train Inside Sales representatives.
Recruit and hire top performers.
Listen in and be present on the sales floor to provide feedback to reps.
Terminate poor performers and conduct exit interviews to help with future hiring.
BA or BS degree in related field preferred
3–5 years of leadership experience in an Inside Sales environment
Expert experience with Salesforce
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in training new sales representatives
