    The Pricing Manager is an active contributor to the LogMeIn Communications and Collaboration organization, which is the largest LogMeIn business unit with leading products (e.g.: GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, Join.Me, Grasshopper), providing analysis and strategic insights while also responsible to drive the execution of the C&C global pricing strategy.

     

    We’re looking for an analytical and data minded team member that will be responsible for producing detailed actionable recommendations that enable Product, Marketing and Sales to use pricing effectively to drive user growth, revenue growth, and enhance profitability. This role is expected to own and advance pricing initiatives, perform detailed competitive pricing analysis, and infuse a high level of initiative and creativity into the pricing process.  Qualified candidates will be able to collaborate well across the organization.

    Responsibilities

    Pricing Strategy:

    • Developing, testing, and integrating various pricing models and audience segmentation into the global pricing and discounting structures
    • Preparing and presenting recommendations for price and line-up changes for existing offerings as well as evaluating new product features and new offerings based on value and competitive positioning
    • Conducting data analysis to articulate defendable points of view on key pricing areas i.e., pricing capabilities, price models, price setting, price realization, SaaS revenue models and bundling

    Tactical Responsibilities:

    • Gathering feedback from Sales and Care teams on the changes and adjustments of the rates, pricing and discounting logic. Assist with analyzing sales patterns in order to identify trends and optimize pricing
    • Responsibility for in depth financial modeling of all pricing initiatives. Preparing CLV and marginal return analysis 
    • Collaborating with the Monetization Analysts on Key Performance Indicators, which are used for reporting on the quality of the pricing arrangements and the degree to which the pricing initiatives are contributing to the financial goals
    • Supporting the implementation of new pricing arrangements

    Qualifications

    The candidate must possess strong analytical and organizational skills.  Knowledge of various pricing methodologies and systems is preferred. The candidate must work collaboratively with key pricing stakeholders in multiple functions to assist in establishing and delivering optimal aligned pricing proposals.

     

     

    Excellent project management, quantitative analysis and modeling skills required; strong presentation and communication skills; highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
    • Data and Statistical modeling experience preferred
    • 5-7 years of experience as pricing analyst in matrix organizations
    • Knowledge of SaaS and/or cloud software industries (B2B or B2C)
    • Ability to use data analysis effectively to impact business decisions and strategies
    • Excellent skills in Excel and Access. SQL skills important. 
    • SAS or other statistical language programming experience highly desirable
    • Experience with A/B testing highly desirable
    • Data visualization tools experience highly desirable (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau, etc.)
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
    • Attentive to detail and consistent follow-through to ensure results are delivered
    • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective presentations to Senior Leadership teams and Executives
