    We’re looking for a talented Quality Engineer to help support and deliver the various components of LastPass, an award-winning password manager used daily by millions of trusting users. The Quality Engineer is responsible for assuring product quality through the entire product lifecycle. Members of QE team help to ensure that the product features and functionality meet the business objectives and that the quality and confidence of product code is communicated across functions. QE performs activities such as manual and automated testing, creating testing and technical documentation, and bug and status reporting. With strong quality mindset, QE is responsible for raising critical questions as early as possible and help other team members to examine issues from different angles to uncover possible side-effects.


    • Work extensively with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements and coordinate with various fast-moving teams around testing, test plans and releases
    • Manual and automated testing of client-server and web/embedded applications
    • Work proactively in an Agile environment
    • Support daily releases
    • Represent strong quality mindset throughout the development phases
    • Communicate proactively, constructively and openly intra and inter teams, across sites to gather and share information effectively
    • Create and continuously maintain internal technical documentation in TestRail and Wiki (test plans, test cases, testing guidelines, release notes)


    • 3+ years experience in testing of web-based software applications
    • Experience with troubleshooting web technologies such as SOAP, XML, HTML, and CSS
    • The ability to demonstrate intuition and knowledge about how to break software by finding and reproducing bugs, and applying this knowledge to positively impact the quality of the product
    • Desire to learn, master new skills and continuously improve yourself
    • Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA
    • Experience working in an agile environment



    • Experience with automated test environments like Selenium
    • Experience with build servers such as TeamCity
    • Experience with Java, PHP, JS
