    ABOUT ROLE 
    You will lead our Hungarian HRBP team that is passionate about delivering the people needs in our Hungarian region.  You will do this in conjunction with the delivery of overall business goals. Delivering a comprehensive range of value added Human Resources programs and services, you and your team will support a global diverse workforce across Hungary.  In partnership with business leaders, our global HRBP team and the HR Centers of Excellence, you will lead the implementation of long-term integrated talent strategies including effective performance planning, talent planning, workforce management, organizational development, and diversity/inclusion programs, all within a matrixed organizational structure.  These components help to drive employee productivity and engagement with limited employee relations issues. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES 
            • Provide management oversight to our Hungarian HR Business Partners to implement and evaluate programs, plans, and themes that result in increased organizational effectiveness and leadership engagement. 

    • Be a co site leader working alongside our VP, Engineering for Hungary to make LogMeIn Hungary the most attractive workplace in Hungary.
    • Analyze situations and issues, recognize strategic implications, and apply both specialized expertise and a broader HR knowledge framework to define problems, priorities, and desired outcomes. Ensures that our HR Shared Service and Center of Expertise are providing appropriate level of service to our Hungarian HRBPs and business leaders.
      • Leads the HR Business Partners to conduct organizational and team climate assessments and develops interventions to address conflicts and gaps. Works with our L&D team as needed to address leadership and team development needs with our Hungarian leaders.
      • Collaborates with other internal COEs and leaders such as Total Reward, Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Inclusion, and HR Operations.   
      • Responsible for keeping all Human Resources policies current and ensuring departmental compliance in Hungary.  Ensures compliance with all local legislation relating to compensation, benefits, employment and labor practices, and similar aspects of human resource management.

    REQUIREMENTS

     

    •  A Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development/Design, Business Administration or related field is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required. • A minimum of 6 to 8 years of progressive human resources leadership experience (including process, procedure, and best practices) gained within a sizable and complex technical organizations is desired. 
    •  Minimum of 5 years’ experience in employee relations required. 
    • Strong ability to coach and direct HR Business Partners and provide expert advice to meet the needs of Hungarian office and to advance the organizational goals and strategy using data/metrics to support decision making. 
    • Knowledge of local Hungarian employment laws and regulations. 
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. 
    • Strong organizational development skills, especially in assessment, gap analysis, and change management. 
    • Ability to make decisions and operate independently with respect to complex issues and business requirements with a high degree of exposure. 
    • Operational leadership and management skills. 
    • Competence and managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong results/goal orientation. 
    • Excellent communication skills including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles. 
    • Ability to work closely with others as part of a team while being able to take full responsibility for a task. 
    • Ability to make strategic and tactical decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues. 
    • Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment with a calming effect.
