    LogMeIn aggressively pursues growth through both organic and acquisitive (mergers and acquisitions) means. Each acquisition presents its own set of requirements in order to be quickly integrated into critical company platform systems such as data/BI, ERP, e-commerce, and customer identity/authentication.
     
    Reporting to the Director of Product Management for business platform systems, you will be working closely with the product, platform, and M&A teams to enable integration of acquired companies into these key internal systems.
     
    The ideal candidate is incredibly detail-oriented, understands product strategy, capable of writing cogent requirement documentation, and excited to work with both executive and engineering stakeholders alike to see integrations through successfully.

    Responsibilities

    • Review acquiree’s current state systems and processes (in the realm of billing and identity) to identify synergy opportunities and challenges
    • Own/drive assessment process to go deep and document both system gaps and business process gaps between acquiree’s systems and LogMeIn platform systems
    • Responsible for generating high-quality and detailed requirements, based on clear business case and priority, for necessary changes to internal systems and business process - with an eye toward standardizing on LogMeIn practices
    • Will work closely with platform product management and software development teams to execute on system changes and data migration - ensuring clear, common understanding of requirements and business outcomes across all functions

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or in product management
    • Extremely strong written and spoken communication skills that can be tailored to both the executive or technical stakeholder
    • Past experience in M&A integration
    • Understanding of billing/e-commerce systems from a functional (not necessarily technical) perspective
    • Experience with identity systems (login, authentication) strongly preferred
    • Basic understanding of software development processes (agile/scrum)
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines without constant supervision
    • High attention to detail and efficient problem solver while being able to thrive in a multi-task environment
    • Possess an intense curiosity — a passion for deeply exploring problems and challenging assumptions
