  • Overview

    Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise-wide Applications, this individual will be joining our Global Information Technology team to create and drive communications originating from IT to effectively inform or promote IT initiatives and projects. This person will also champion key initiatives to help employees adopt corporate IT solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and develop LogMeIn IT Communications strategy
    • Proactively identify areas where we can improve the IT communications, through implementing innovative technologies and incremental changes to the communication process.
    • Develop and maintain a portfolio of content that will be used to broadcast IT communication, while strategically leveraging internal company channels (email, intranet, digital signage, Slack, or office branding).
    • Develop and maintain a framework to enable employees to optimize their adoption of IT services, for example, Microsoft Office 365, Slack or LastPass.
    • Write and publish announcements, service changes, outage alerts as well as maintain onboarding how-to materials for example, M&A guides
    • Bring the internal employee focus to IT change management meetings to gauge end-user impact and determine the appropriate way to communicate.
    • Act as a liaison to create alignment between IT and Corporate Internal Communications.

    Qualifications

    • Passionate professional with knowledge in information technology, communications, technical writing, presentation skills, technical training, or desktop publishing.
    • Self-motivated professional with strong organizational, communication and time/task management skills who can work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize projects.
    • Excellent written and digital communicator, with the ability to translate business requirements to technical solutions.
    • Ability to create engaging and meaningful IT communications for employees who are not versed with computer terminology, and measure the effectiveness of these communications.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in functional areas, with background in IT.
