    Vice President of Product Management- CES

     

    The Vice President of Product Management will define and communicate the product vision and commercialization strategy for the Customer Engagement & Support (CES) portfolio.  Partnering closely with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing leaders within the business unit and the General Manager, he/she will develop and drive the execution of the business strategy for LogMeIn’s CES lines of business which include Rescue, Rescue Lens, GoToAssist, GoToAssist SeeIt, Bold360, and Nanorep. This product leader will steer a high-performing team of product managers and drives cross-functional operational processes that allow for frictionless go-to-market of the CES portfolio.

    Responsibilities

    • Define and communicate the product vision in support of the business strategy for the CES portfolio, including maintaining a clear product roadmap aligned to delighting customers and driving growth (both from a customer and revenue perspective) in the short- and long-term.
    • Partner with the BU marketing, sales, and care leaders to develop go-to-market strategies to win in targeted customer segments, and create end-to-end operational plans to profitably grow and scale the business and drive business value.
    • Act as member of BU leadership team charged with delivering the CES strategy and P&L, including driving the annual and quarterly planning processes and ensuring flawless execution of the plan.
    • Partner closely with the BU head of engineering to develop a world class, high impact, and efficient AGILE product organization. 
    • Ensure direct interaction of the product team with customers, partners, Sales, and Customer Care to deeply understand customer needs and uses the feedback to drive customer satisfaction.
    • Provide leadership -- and be the expert on -- the competitive landscape for the CES family of products, driving processes to identify current and potential competitors, research competitive products, and maintain competitive information.
    • Evangelize the vision for our CES offerings and oversee management of core content and collateral, presentations, website and competitive write-ups for the offerings. 
    • Interface with analysts and attend/ present at key conferences to evangelize the CES product strategy, and educate customers, prospects and partners about our product releases, priorities, and vision.
    • Partner with Business Development to source and close key go-to-market partnerships and key inorganic activities (M&A, licensing, integrations) to support the CES strategy.
    • Act as a key member of the LogMeIn product leadership team and the LogMeIn management team.
    • Build a world class product management organization that thrives on customer interaction, embraces design thinking, and role models a data-driven, test-and-learn approach to execution.

     

    Qualifications

    • BA or BS in Business, Management, Computer Science or related discipline desired. MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 15 years of directly related work experience. 10 years of this work experience should be in senior product management/marketing/ sales/ product development leadership roles.  Ideally 5 or more of these years will be at a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company as a member of the senior executive team.
    • Proven leader who understands highly technical products and is experienced at influencing engineers and making product trade-offs.
    • Must be able to lead in ambiguity and fast-paced change—can set clear direction and make decisions in ambiguous situations in a matrix organizational structure.
    • Thorough understanding of a variety of development, engineering, and sales processes (Agile/Scrum, RUP, McGrath’s PACE, Pragmatic Marketing Framework, Strategic selling frameworks such as Sandler Sales, Selling Through Curiosity and/or Value Vision).
    • Demonstrated ability to work with customers and executives in companies of all sizes.
    • Effective at presenting to and synthesizing input from customers, analysts/press, industry groups
    • Proven track record of success in positioning, launching and achieving market leadership for two or more products. 
    • Demonstrated track record of success working with broad cross-functional teams with ability to sell. ideas and plans to internal constituencies, executives, customers, analysts, and partners. 
    • Strong knowledge of business, industry, and customers.
